From November, British fishermen will be able to fly return to Belize City without an overnight connection in the US or Mexico, making this Central American destination more accessible for the first time. Belize or a long time has been an ideal destination for the permit hunter, tarpon fanatic and also for those travelling with families or non-fishing partners.

Launching on 4th November 2016, in conjunction with the start of Belize’s high visitor season, new outbound flights will operate four days a week on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday while new inbound flights will operate daily. Both will fly all year round.

American Airlines will introduce new afternoon outbound flights departing from London Heathrow, with a few hours’ connection in Miami onto Belize City, as well as new morning and midday inbound flights, again connecting for just a few hours in Miami.

These new flight times will complement American Airlines’ existing services, which fly daily via Miami, Dallas Fort Worth, Charlotte and Los Angeles.
