We are delighted to be supporting both the Wild Trout Trust and the Angling Trust with their upcoming auctions.
The Wild Trout Trust Auction runs from 13th to 22nd March and includes over 400 lots offering fishing in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and overseas. There’s also the opportunity to bid on shooting, books, tackle, art and various unique experiences. Guide prices range from £8 to £1,850.
Monies raised will go towards funding more conservation work nationwide, protecting wild brown trout and the rivers in which they live.
The Angling Trust’s annual auction is underway with a fabulous selection of lots to suit all tastes and budgets. Among the nearly 200 lots are books, tuition, fishery memberships and fishing weekends away. The auction is live and runs until Sunday 29th March.
Funds raised will go towards continuing the trust’s work to protect our rivers and waterways ensuring healthy fish populations for future generations.
In both auctions, Aardvark McLeod is offering one day for three rods on the River Wylye at Langford near Salisbury. The Wylye is one of the Avon’s most sought-after tributaries with crystal-clear waters and abundant fly life and is home to strong populations of wild trout and grayling. The fishing is mainly wading with great twists, bends and in-water obstacles to provide fish with a fantastic habitat. Date by arrangement 15 April to 30 November 2026.
