There are very few places where you can target giant tarpon off the beach and only one where you do so in the company of forest elephants, hippo, buffalo and gorillas. This is the longest and wildest stretch of coastline left on the African continent, and it is hard to put into words how special Sette Cama is.
Charlotte Chilcott will be visiting on 18th to 25th March 2027 and although this isn’t an official Aardvark McLeod hosted week, there are three rods remaining for anyone interested in joining her.
Alongside this week, we also have three exceptional departures to offer during 2027, including two reserved for families and small groups at a discounted rate.

New Year in the wild – 31 December 2026 to 7th January 2027
Begin the new year somewhere few people will ever experience. This departure has been reserved for families or groups of friends wanting to share the Sette Cama experience together. Spend your days exploring remote beaches, enjoying fishing, watching wildlife and returning to camp each evening as the Atlantic sun disappears beyond the horizon. A discounted package is available for groups of four, with additional guests accommodated subject to camp capacity.

Easter at Sette Cama – 25th March to 1st April 2027
Looking for an Easter holiday unlike any other? This departure offers the opportunity to experience one of Africa’s most remarkable wilderness destinations during one of the most enjoyable times of year. Whether your perfect day includes fishing the surf, photographing wildlife, walking empty beaches or simply spending quality time together, Sette Cama offers an experience unlike anywhere else. A discounted family package is available for groups of four.

A week for anglers – 1st to 8th April 2027
If you’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to experience Sette Cama, this week is ideally suited to individual anglers or friends travelling together. Join a small group of like-minded guests and spend your days fishing one of Africa’s most remarkable coastal fisheries, while enjoying everything that makes Sette Cama so unique—from empty beaches and exceptional wildlife to the quiet rhythm of camp life between tides. Whether you’re returning to Gabon or planning your first visit, this is an excellent opportunity to experience the destination in an intimate, uncrowded setting.

Looking for the season’s prime tide – 15th to 22nd April 2027
For anglers specifically seeking one of the season’s standout tide cycles, there is limited availability on this week.
