Boutique Hotel Milka is perfectly positioned for exploring the Julian Alps, with a range of activities available directly from Kranjska Gora. During the warmer months, guests can enjoy hiking and mountain biking through the nearby valleys and mountains, cycling the spectacular Vršič Pass, climbing, kayaking and paddleboarding on Lake Jasna, while more adventurous options include white-water rafting and paragliding. Fly fishing is another highlight, with the clear waters of the Sava Dolinka close to the hotel offering fishing for brown and rainbow trout. Further afield, anglers can cross the Vršič Pass into the Soča Valley, home to some of Slovenia’s finest fly fishing and the famous marble trout, alongside grayling and rainbow trout. In winter, the landscape becomes a playground for downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice climbing and ski touring, making Milka an excellent year-round base for an active stay in Slovenia.
