River Tweed – Scotland Fly Fishing Breaks

Full service salmon breaks

We have teamed up with Chasing Fins to bring a series of guided salmon fly fishing trips on the River Tweed and its tributaries. The River Tweed needs little introduction and continues to be one of Scotland (and England’s) most notable salmon rivers. The trips hosted by James Armstrong are the perfect introduction to salmon fishing or for those looking explore different parts of the Tweed system. With a huge range of beats there is fishing for everyone in all seasons.

Varied Salmon Fly Fishing

The River Tweed has been the chosen destination for recreational salmon anglers for as long as the fish have been targetted with rod and line. Its 96 miles of main river and tributaries draining both sides of the Scottish-English border offer a fantastic environment for fly fishers from source to sea.

Teaming up with James Armstrong of Chasing Fins we bring a fantastic combination of James’ international guiding experience (including the Ponoi in Russia and the South Island of New Zealand) and local knowledge of the Tweed system to offer some brilliant packages. Trips will vary depending on the season but will look to offer anglers the chance to experience both the main river and the interesting tributaries such as the Whiteadder and River Till.
