Despite several heatwaves and challenging conditions over the summer, the 2026 chalkstream season has been a great one, delivering some memorable days on our beautiful rivers. Thankfully, the autumn rains have finally arrived, bringing welcome relief after a prolonged dry spell. With river levels beginning to recover, we’re looking forward to seeing our chalkstreams return to healthier flows and conditions as we head into winter.
