We have three last minute dates on the upper River Test on the The Wherwell Estate in May and June. This section of river offers a wonderful variety of water with both the main river and several interesting carriers to explore. The three miles of river make it a wonderful venue for chalkstream fly fishing day rods, guided trip and larger group days too.
The River Test on the Wherwell Estate extends for some three miles across open water meadows and is divided into eight two-rod beats. The beats typically comprise smaller carrier streams with tree-lined pools and delightful gravel runs. The upper two beats are favoured by anglers who are looking for a larger river experience. The river has great populations of wild brown trout and grayling along with stocked trout.
