Fly Fishing Bucket List, the latest addition to our brochure portfolio, explores the Aardvark McLeod team’s favourite “once-in-a-lifetime” fishing destinations.
While putting it together, we realised that between us we’ve amassed more than 135 years of fishing experience around the world. That’s a lot of flies cast, a fair share of “the ones that got away”, and countless adventures across some of the world’s finest freshwater and saltwater destinations.
Rather than creating a definitive list, we’ve gathered a selection of the places and experiences that have stayed with us most. Among those countries included, Alex and Charlotte reflect on Mongolia’s extraordinary wilderness, culture, and fishing; Peter chooses Iceland as the one destination he’d return to if he could fish nowhere else. Olly highlights sea trout fishing in Argentina and golden dorado in Bolivia, while Alistair champions the rewards of freshwater fishing in Spain.
