With the Alphonse season well underway, it is particularly nice for us when we receive images of our clients on the island, of which two below for Mike and Graham. Charlotte.
The North Westerly winds have finally arrived and so have the Milkfish. It’s been a great week with flat calm seas, spectacular sunsets and a vast variety of species to catch. 9 Triggerfish, 5 GT’s, a Barracuda, 3 Milkfish, a bucket load of bonefish and other species were landed. Justin McCarthy stayed on for his second week on Alphonse and finished his stay with an Alphonse Flats Slam consisting of GT, trigger and bonefish. The biggest GTs of the week were Justin’s 120 cm beast and a 97 cm beauty landed by Gregory. Great fishing and a great bunch of guests who move on to fish Cosmoledo.
We look forward to the weeks to come as the milkfish continue to feed with the manta’s on the Western side of the atoll. Exciting times.
