May and June are typically considered as low season months in The Bahamas. The Northern Hemisphere warms up at this time and the trout and salmon fishing opportunities begin to open leaving miles of untouched flats in The Bahamas. The weather in the Bahamas is much like the rest of the Northern Hemisphere in these months, warm and stable… perfect for stalking tailing bonefish on the flats.

If you are still considering a bonefish get away before the height of summer there are still a handful of great opens at Abaco Lodge on Great Abaco Island and Bair’s Lodge on Andros Island.
