An amazing remote lodge experience in Alaska with fantastic fishing
Amazing fishing and remote lodge experience
Wildman Lodge offers amazing fishing for king salmon, along with myriad other species including steelhead, rainbow trout, chum salmon, pink salmon, coho, dolly varden and Arctic char. This true wilderness lodge is situated on the gin-clear Ocean River which means that fantastic fishing is instantly accessible.
Exceptional king salmon fishing, along with myriad other species
Anglers are accompanied by experienced and licensed guides, alternating between incredible salmon, trout and char fishing on Ocean River and its tributaries via jet boat, and all day fly-out fishing excursions to one of several neighbouring rivers, targeting the abundant salmon runs on the remote Alaska peninsula.
Comfort and warmth in a remote location
Nestled below the glacier shrouded Mount Veniaminof on the remote Alaska peninsula, Wildman is designed to accommodate just 16 guests, many of whom return year after year for an annual Alaska fishing adventure. Individual anglers, fishing couples, families and corporate groups are all welcome at Wildman Lodge. All buildings have 24 hour electricity and hot water heating. The remote location is out of mobile phone range, which most visitors appreciate. You can, however, check your email on the Wildman Lodge Wi-Fi computer.
Guests are accommodated in duplex style guest cabins, each with its own bathroom and piping hot shower. Guests may choose from family cabins, twin guest rooms or king bedrooms with a private bath.
Off the beaten track location
The lodge is located 500 miles south-west of Anchorage on the remote Alaska peninsula. Even by Alaskan standards, Wildman Lodge is off the beaten track. There are no other lodges in the area and you won’t see anyone here you didn’t see at breakfast!
