As the Iceland season draws near we have four rods to offer in 27 – 30 July Langá and 30 July – 1 August on Nordurá. The cost per rod will be an unbelievable £3,480 for 5 days fishing which would normally be the cost for only three days. It includes transfers, fully catered accommodation and guiding based on single room and shared guide. It does not include international flights on Iceland Air (approximately £340), gratuities and alcohol.

The Langá and the Nordurá are only 20 minutes away from each other and will provide a wonderful contrast of fishing. Rods will be sold on a first come first served basis so please contact us to avoid disappointment.

Day 1 – Wednesday 27th July
Depart London Heathrow, Terminal 1, to Keflavik at 1300 on Iceland Air FI451. You arrive at 1500 and will be met by a representative from Reykjavik Angling Club and transferred by road to the Langá River. The transfer to Langá will take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. On arrival you will tackle up and head out for the afternoon session that starts at 1600 – 2200. Accommodation at Langá is on a full board basis.

Days 2 & 3 – Thursday 28th & Friday 29th July
You will have two full days fishing Langá. A typical day will start with breakfast at approximately 0615. The first session is from 0700 to 1300. Your guide will move you to your beats in vehicles or on foot. The river is fished with a total of 12 rods and is divided into a number of rotating beats of four rods each. You will come back for lunch, have a siesta, and then go out for the evening session from 1600 – 2200. Remain based at Langá.

Day 4 – Saturday 30th July
You will fish the bulk of the morning session on the Langá before returning to the lodge for a quick lunch and transfer to the Nordurá Lodge. (approximately 25 minutes). You will then fish the afternoon session on the Nordurá. Accommodation at Nordurá is on a full board basis.

Days 5 – Sunday 31st July
You will have a full days fishing Nordurá. A typical day will start with breakfast at approximately 0615. The first session is from 0700 to 1300. Your guide will move you to your beats in vehicles or on foot. The river is fished with a total of 12 rods and is divided into three rotating beats of four rods each. Beats not only rotate per session but after three hours two rods on either side of the river swap, therefore ensuring interesting fishing throughout the session. You will come back for lunch, have a siesta, and then go out for the evening session from 1600 – 2200.

Day 6 – Monday 1st August
You will fish the bulk of the morning session before returning to the lodge for a quick lunch, then be transferred to Keflavik Airport. Depart at 1610 on Iceland Air FI454, arriving into London Heathrow, Terminal 1, at 2010.
