Start in the Iberá Marshes at Pirá Lodge, where the fishing never slows down. Water everywhere, fish moving, and constant opportunities. It’s a place where you find your rhythm quickly and stay in it—and just when you feel dialed in, you move.

Pirá Lodge is defined by smaller-water fishing from Hell’s Bay skiffs. You fish flowing lagoons, creeks, marsh channels, and the Corriente River. You’ll cast dry flies, streamers, swing or even tow flies—but most of it is light-tackle, visual, and fast-paced, surrounded by a vibrant, wildlife-rich environment.

Then you step into the Middle Paraná at Karandá Lodge—and everything gets heavier. Bigger water, stronger fish, and more demanding conditions. You’re covering ground, adapting to the river, and, when conditions line up, sight-casting to dorado cruising and hunting over the river’s sandbars. The takes are harder, the fish are bigger, and size becomes part of the focus. You’ll fish bigger flies, work structure, and make each shot count. It’s a more powerful, technical style of fishing—where every fish is earned.

This seven-night itinerary allows guests to rotate lodges midweek. Begin your adventure at Pirá Lodge and then transfer to Karandá Lodge – or start at Pirá and finish on the Paraná River. Regardless of where you begin, you will fish two of the most productive and consistent Golden Dorado fisheries that
Argentina has to offer.

Cost: US$7,950 per angler, 7 nights/6 days fishing.
