The Skeena system and surrounding tributaries are renowned for their steelhead. However the rivers have a lot more to offer and for those looking for a wider experience a lot more species become available, depending on the time of year you visit. For example, the Skeena system still receives a fantastic run of Chinook (king salmon) that can be targeted in early and mid summer.

Fancy targeting something that will really put you through your paces? Testing angler and tackle to the limit? Then the king salmon is the one for you and they have been landed in excess of 70 lbs in recent seasons on the fly.
