As winter encroaches in the northern hemisphere things start warming up in the southern – from the fishing and weather perspective. New Zealand is a fantastic place to consider for your next journey and now is the time to book. The lodges are starting to fill up for the 2014/15 season, especially with the prospect of a mouse year.

So where would you like to fish this coming season? There are two main fly fishing regions that we focus on in New Zealand – the central North Island, with fantastic places such as Poronui and Tongariro Lodge. The upper South Island is rich in options with Owen River Lodge, Stonefly Lodge and John Gendall’s Lodge providing excellent accommodation and fishing in incredible surroundings.

There are more flight options available than ever before, with the main carriers such as Air New Zealand, Virgin, Qantas, Emirates and United Airlines all offering some excellent choices.

For more information on any of the above lodges or elsewhere in New Zealand please contact Alex Jardine or call our office on 01980 847 389.
