A quintessential Hampshire country estate offering ¾ mile of classic river Test mayfly fishing.
Single and double bank fishing for brown trout and grayling of the highest quality. From small carriers with fast flowing riffles running through wild flower water meadows to the main river with manicured banks and thatched huts, the fishing offers something for all skill levels. Unusual for river Test fishing there is an area best suited to wading for those that like to fish from within the river. From the section by the side of the house with the lawns gently sloping down to the river’s edge to the sheltered wooded areas the estate offers the perfect location to entertain either work colleagues or a group of friends.
Days are sold for a minimum of five rods but the river will fish 6 comfortably.
Corporate packages include catering options from a riverside BBQ to a full 3 course lunch with waitress service seated in the Old Chapel, premium kit , qualified guides and EA rod licences.
The estate offers easy access by road from London or 1 hour by train from London Waterloo to Andover where we can arrange collection for the 15 minute drive to the fishing.
Days are already filling quickly but we have managed to secure dates which we believe should be right in the main mayfly hatch period.
