Christmas Island is a fabulous saltwater fly fishing destination with bonefish, giant trevally, triggerfish, milkfish and bluefin trevally all on offer to visiting anglers. Just 200km north of the equator, Christmas island enjoys stable weather conditions making it a truly year round destination.
Christmas Island Lodge, conveniently located on the island’s north shore, has a wonderful private setting on a 20 acre beach with direct access to the surf. Private back-of-the-lagoon access means many of the best fishing spots are within easy reach, ensuring fisherman spend as little time as possible en-route and maximum time casting.
The recently upgraded lodge provides accommodation for up to 12 anglers in six oceanside bungalows, each made up of two suites with private bathrooms. The lodge offers single accommodation as part of the standard package.
