Fishing Varzuga river atlantic salmon Russia Kola Peninsula.

The Upper Varzuga at Grand Varzuga Camp will be open for the 2017 season, offering amazing fishing and value for money on the Kola Peninsula, Russia.

We are pleased to announce that the Grand Varzuga Camp on the Upper Varzuga is back and operational for the 2017 season. Best of all we have managed to secure prime space that cannot be found elsewhere.

The Upper Varzuga on the Kola Peninsula offers fantastic fishing and tremendous value for money. A ten night, nine day stay will cost just €6,495 (euros) per rod. Over your stay you can realistically expect to catch 20-30 salmon to your own rod. Whilst the average size of the salmon are not comparable to the big fish rivers, most fish caught will be in the 5-8 lbs bracket with some well into double figures.

The Varzuga is a beautiful river to fish and has mile upon mile of stunning fly water that keeps you on tenterhooks with each cast. Return to the fantastically appointed lodge in the evening where you will have a single room as standard and be greeted with a myriad of creature comforts, well beyond what one would expect in such a remote location.

Dates: Arrive 8th June, depart on the 18th 2017 (10 nights with 9 days fishing).

Cost: €6,495 (euros) to include single room at the lodge and shared guiding (two anglers per guide).

Capacity: Maximum of 10 rods.

Please do take a look at our webpage HERE for further insight into the lodge and operation.
