The Skeena River in British Columbia is famous for large wild steelhead and Pacific salmon and the strength of the fish combined with the fast shallow waters make for some memorable encounters. The fabulous guide team at Skeena Spey Lodge will help you target the multitude of species that inhabit the local rivers among which are king salmon, steelhead, coho, chinook, chum and more. 


Located on the Skeena with a private launch

One of the great features of Skeena Spey Lodge is that it’s located right on the river and guests enjoy easy access to some great water right in front of the lodge. This means you can hit the home water before breakfast and even fish after dinner during the summer months if you wish.

Other areas of the Skeena are within easy reach, as are numerous tributaries for which the area is famous. Guests enjoy access to the best of the fishing waters via a fleet of comfortable jet boats which depart from a private dock immediately in front of the lodge.  The fishing programme is flexible and all guiding is booked by the day.  Gear can be provided and casting lessons are available for beginners or those wishing to brush up their skills.

The cosy ‘A’ frame cabins are comfortable and furnished to a very high standard, making them suitable for anglers and non-anglers alike. There is a range of price points with both deluxe and classic cabin options available.

Skeena Spey Lodge is located on the outskirts of Terrace, British Columbia, Canada.  There are regular flights to Terrace airport which is just 15 minutes from the lodge.
