We’ve limited availability on two of our hosted trips this autumn. These group fishing holidays provide an excellent opportunity for those wishing to join a party of like-minded enthusiasts. Your Aardvark McLeod host is on hand to help with all the arrangements, to advise on tackle and flies alongside the local guides, and in some cases to assist with guiding and tuition. If you are travelling alone it’s a good way to avoid playing a single supplement and if you are fishing abroad for the first time, it’s an easy way to experience a more far flung destination.

Bosnia, 4th to 11th October 2025 – Exciting dry fly waters with Phil Ratcliffe

Three rods available
The Bosnian rivers are alive with grayling, brown and rainbow trout that feed freely on the surface throughout the summer months on the many upwing insects that hatch on the rivers. Rivers such as the Pliva, Ribnik and Sanica offer crystal clear chalkstream-like water where the fish are easily seen although they can scrutinise each fly offered to them. These are exciting dry fly waters where you can target fish for long periods of time whilst trying the beautifully made local fly patterns.

Cuba, November 22nd to 29th November 2025 – Caribbean Grand Slam opportunities with Alex Jardine

Two rods available

Alex will be returning to the pristine flats of Jardines de la Reina in search of bonefish, permit and tarpon. Based on a purpose built liveaboard, fishing time is maximised and there’s a realistic chance of a grand slam.
