This week we had some important changes in the weather, which was decisive for fishing in general, nevertheless maintained normal values. Heavy rains during the night of Tuesday and Thursday caused a slight rise in the river, without affecting visibility, and allowed it to return to its normal level. The main characteristic regarding fishing was that one out of every three catches exceeded 15lb in weight.

Week 5 – 7th to 14th February
A very good week with very pleasant weather, no rain, and some cool mornings due to the southwest winds. Because of these conditions, the river level dropped, so some pools had little current. Overall, the fishing was very good with many fish seen all over the river. Significant rain is expected next week, so we hope the river will return to its usual characteristics for this time of year.

Week 3 – 24th to 31st January
A wonderful week with a group comprising a mix of very experienced anglers and some beginners. The week had some rain which, for a couple of days, affected the river, causing a slightly higher level and a change in colour. By the end of the week, the river had returned to its optimal conditions. Regarding the fishing, while the final numbers were generally good, they could have been much better given the high level of fish activity observed in the river.
