Belize is a rare destination offering that elusive combination of fishing and leisure where neither party will feel they’ve have had to compromise to the detriment of their own enjoyment. If you’re seeking the perfect blend of luxurious accommodation and breathtaking natural beauty, you don’t need to look any further.

This hidden gem in Central America may be small but it’s mighty in terms of what it has to offer. From its jungle highlands and cloud forests, down to the coast and the many islands and atolls that dot its coastline, there really is something for everyone.

As Belize has much to choose from in terms of accommodation (whether fishing or not) finding a starting point is often daunting. The more information you can give us on your likes and dislikes, the easier it is for us to get the right fit for you.

Whether you opt for a chic boutique hotel, a lavish resort on the coast, or a luxurious eco-lodge tucked into the rainforest, you will find attentive staff – from private chefs and personal butlers to guides on excursions tailored just for you – who are committed to making your stay extraordinary.

Belize’s protected forests, reefs and rivers support a rich biodiversity of fauna and flora. On the cayes, atolls and along the coastal mainland there is fishing, snorkelling (if you are lucky, encountering the endangered West Indian manatee), diving and beach picnics to occupy your day with sundowners to round it off. On the mainland there are Mayan ruins to explore including those at Altan Ha and Lamani. You can zipline through the rainforest, tube ride through remote cave systems, hike or horse ride the many trails in the cloud forest. The country is a birder’s paradise with hundreds of species, including the keel-billed toucan and scarlet macaw.

Moving around Belize is straightforward, with regular flights connecting all its main hubs and private charter flights available to move between locations if preferred. Helicopter flights, both on the mainland and out to the atolls are an amazing way to move around, giving a unique bird’s eye view of the lush scenery.

So why choose Belize?
