Fly Fishing Buenos Aires
Fly Fishing Buenos Aires
Fly Fishing Buenos Aires offers anglers access to the Paraná Delta and Rio de La Plata, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve rich in wildlife and native fish, just 45 minutes to an hour from Buenos Aires. Among species encountered here are golden dorado, wolf fish, vampire fish, and boga. It is an ideal add on for anglers visiting Patagonia.
Golden Dorado Fishing
The vast populations of baitfish swimming through these waters provide the perfect food source for golden dorado. Anglers will fish various different features like runs, inlet/outlets of lagoons, small side channels and tributaries. Casting to structure, this is exciting and explosive fishing. Golden dorado average three to eight pounds and wolf fish average two to five pounds. Both full day and half day guided trips can be arranged with fishing from fully equipped skiffs catering for up to three anglers. If you choose to take a day trip you will enjoy authentic Argentine cuisine and wines on the river. Professional, English speaking guides know the region well and loaner rods and reels are available if required. Fishing is fun for all levels of anglers and both spinning and fly fishing is permitted. Although fishing can be arranged here year round, the best time to visit is between August and May.
