The 2024 season was record-setting, with more than 17,000 dorado landed and released at Pirá Lodge alone. By the end of the season, the fish population entered autumn and winter under favourable hydrological conditions. Typically, dorado activity decreases in colder months; however, continued observations confirmed a strong presence of fish, suggesting excellent survival and system health. These conditions point toward robust population levels, both in terms of numbers and fish quality, for the upcoming season.
