The salmon season in Iceland has officially begun, bringing a wave of excitement among fly fishers worldwide. The first salmon have already been caught, and notably, the first springer has been seen in Laxa I Kjos—signalling a strong start to the 2025 season. As the rivers awaken, anglers are eagerly securing their spots on some of Iceland’s most iconic waters, and we still have some prime openings left that we wished to draw your attention to:
