Ascension Bay has a long and storied history of offering some of the most consistent permit fishing in the world. Mayazul Lodge, set right on the ocean and just minutes from the tranquil village of Punta Allen, is a small, intimate retreat offering excellent accommodation for groups of up to eight anglers.
Some of the most experienced guides in the bay put anglers in prime positions to target permit as the main prize, while also providing excellent opportunities for bonefish, tarpon, and snook.
