Anglers visiting Mayazul Lodge, which opened in April this year, have had considerable success catching permit, with more than 25 landed to date. Ranging in size from two to 20lb, these beautiful black-tailed devils have been caught in various situations with plenty of opportunities presented to both experienced and first-time anglers. Although the lodge is running flat out, we do have some great last minute dates available over the summer and into the autumn.

Mayazul Lodge is located right on the Mayan Riviera, close to Punta Allen. It features just four rooms (accommodating up to eight anglers), each offering two queen beds. The attractive lounging and dining areas provide stunning views of the flats you and your guide will pole, searching for tailing fish.
