A handful of last-minute spaces have just been released on Providence Atoll in the Seychelles for the 2025–26 season. This will be the last opportunity to fish this remote and prolific saltwater destination in its current format with its current guide team before it moves over to the new team in Autumn 2026. Known for its vast, untouched flats and raw wilderness, Providence has developed a near-mythical reputation among those who have walked its coral shallows in search of giant trevally, bumphead parrotfish, milkfish, triggerfish, and bonefish developed over the last decade.

Providence is not a place of compromise. Its remoteness—more than 700 kilometres from the main island of Mahé—means that only a fortunate few ever set foot on its sands each year. The sheer diversity and abundance of species make it one of the finest saltwater fly fishing venues in the world. What sets it apart, however, is not just the volume of fish, but the scale and wildness of the environment: vast flats that stretch into the horizon, surf zones alive with GTs and bluefin trevally, and a hauntingly beautiful backdrop where nature dominates completely. Fishing here is demanding, thrilling, and unforgettable—experienced with a tight-knit group of anglers and the expert guidance of the FlyCastaway team, who have spent over a decade pioneering these waters.

From October 2026, the operation on Providence Atoll is set to evolve with a new extended format, increasing the number of weeks available but changing the rhythm and feel of the experience. For those who have dreamt of fishing these flats with the current FlyCastaway team, under the original structure that helped build the atoll’s reputation, the 2025–26 season represents the end of an era. These last few weeks offer not just world-class fishing, but the chance to be part of the final chapter of a remarkable story—before the atoll enters its next phase.
