Bolivia is for the adventures. It is for the anglers who want to fish remote jungle rivers and streams. Why? To target hard fighting, aggressive freshwater species. It is one of the finest jungle fisheries on the planet with a well deserved reputation for golden dorado, pacu and yatorana.

We are delighted to be able to offer the following special offer at Pluma Lodge in two weeks in October:
4th – 11th October 2025
- This week can be fished in several ways
- – A full heli fishing week – US$13,000 plus US$1,250 fees
- – A hybrid week (combining heli fishing & regular fishing) – US$11,000 plus US$1,250 fees
– A regular fishing week – US$6,000 plus US$1,250 fees
18th to 25th October 2025
This is regular fishing week.
Pluma Lodge features six log cabins for those fishing the regular programme and eight log cabins for those heli fishing. Each cabin provides single accommodation, with private bathrooms with hot water and electric light. Every evening guests will enjoy delicious international cuisine in a well appointed living and dining room. Satellite internet wireless connection and phone service is available.

Pluma Lodge is set high atop a cliff on the banks of the Pluma River, just above its confluence with the Sécure River. The lodge gives access to the Pluma, the Upper Pluma, the Itirizama, and the Sécure Rivers. These small and clear freestone rivers allow sight fishing for some huge golden dorado. The area has built a reputation as one of the ultimate freshwater experiences for the adventurous angler.
For those fishing the heli programme, capacity is eight anglers per week, divided into two parties of four. Each day, the helicopters will take the pairs of anglers and their guides to different spots into the unspoiled headwaters. Guests are transferred the five to 20 minutes in a Robinson R44 RAVEN II which has capacity for a pilot plus three passengers (two anglers and one guide). Lunch and drinks for the day will accompany you. At around 5pm the helicopter will pick the groups up and return to the lodge. Guides have satellite communication to ensure permanent contact with the helicopter pilots and the lodge.
