National Fishing Month (NFM) is the month for you if you are angling to get your welly boots and rods out this summer – a month-long fishing extravaganza from 22 July to 29 August 2016.

National Fishing Month
This celebration of all things angling started as National Fishing Week in 2009 and was so popular that is has grown to a whole month of fishing opportunities. Supported by groups including the Angling Trust and The Angling Times, the aim is to encourage everyone, from grandparents to kids, to dip their toes in the water and give fishing a go.

As in previous years, the idea behind NFM is to encourage every family member to have a go at all angling disciplines. It does not matter what age you are, or what previous experience you have. Nor does it matter which cultural or social background you may be from.

Fishing is for everyone!

To coincide with NFM selected estates in the river Test, Anton and Avon valleys have offered children under the age of 16 to fish free if accompanied by a paying adult during this period. In addition to this offer a further 10% reduction is offered on normal pricing.

Also children under 12 years of age will not require and Environment Agency rod licence.
Qualified instruction and kit can also be provided if required.
