River Tyne Update and Guided Fishing

Through this season we have be plagued by low water, so it is a delight to report that we have had plenty of rain over the past few weeks. The Tyne system now has enough water to see us through to the end of the season. The recent lift has brought good numbers of salmon that have held downstream into the river. It has also livened up the resident holding fish. At last, we are starting to see a glimpse of the autumn fishing that the River Tyne has become renowned for and rods who have fished have seen plenty and often caught.

It is by no means the time to pack away the salmon rods for the winter. If you are thinking of a few final casts, there are few better rivers than the Tyne, especially if you further south do not have time travel further north to Scotland.
